Finally, the town has solicited bids for a $6.3 million expansion of
Evans Road
from
Maynard Road
to
Dynasty Drive
(including new traffic light). As you may know, the project has been behind schedule for a few years, yet will now be ready to start construction by June or July 2007.
The council is scheduled to provide final approval on May 10. While there has been some delays and property owner concerns, I have not heard of any concern about approving this project by other council members and expect a unanimous vote to approve. If anything else comes up, I will let you know. Some more detailed information is found below about the final funding recommendation.
