DON'T FORGET YEAR ROUND ALTERNATE DAY WATERING IS IN EFFECT As the weather heats up and spring planting begins, don't forget that alternate day watering rules are in effect year round in Cary. Water customers with odd-numbered street addresses can water outdoors using automated devices such as sprinklers and irrigation systems only on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. All customers with even-numbered street addresses may water outdoors using sprinklers and irrigation systems only on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
NO ONE MAY USE OUTDOOR AUTOMATED DEVICES--INCLUDING SPRINKLERS--ON MONDAY. Hand watering is okay any day of the week.
Citizens can monitor the system's water demand online as well as their own individual use by visiting the Town's Web site, www.townofcary.org
