We are selling our RV campground membership to Sycamore Lodge, a Travel Resorts Campground located just outside of Pinehurst, NC. The membership also includes membership to The Gettysburg Battlefield Resort - a Travel Resorts Campground located in Gettysburg, PA. Sycamore Lodge is 70 miles south of Raleigh, with beautifully landscaped grounds and a two acre lake, surrounded by large groves of sycamore trees. Gettysburg Battlefield Resort is located on the southern edge of the Gettsburg civil war battlefield, amongst the gentle rolling hills of the Pennsylvania countryside. Both resorts offer shaded campsites, a Lodge, swimming pool, jacuzzi, game room, playgrounds, dance pavillion, bingo hall, planned activities, BBQ's, live music, fishing, a bathhouse, a General Store, and laundry facilities. The Sycamore lodge has putt-putt golf, and a ball field too. Themed weekends are all the rage, and there is a Hawaiian Luau type weekend amongst them as well as a huge Halloween event. Transferring the membership to you is quite simple, and we have all of the necessary paperwork to fax in.
In addition the the $850 cash you would pay us, Travel Resorts requires of you, a one-time transfer fee as well as your first quarter's maintenance dues. Maintenance is in the amount of $94.17/quarter and the one time transfer fee is approximately $399. This membership was originally $6,000 several years ago, and is now selling for close to $12K. We are selling our membership as we no longer own our pop-up camper. If you or anyone you know owns an RV and would love a place to go and camp relatively close to home, yet get away from it all, please have them call us. This is a great family-fun orientated place, and it will go quickly at this low price.
